It took Taylor just 4 1/2 minutes to claim his first World Title. A devastating exhibition of power and great technique - The "Terminator " lived up to his name and terminated the fight half way through the second round with roundhouse kicks landing with such venom Pervis's guard couldn't cope and let on land to the head knocking him down for a second time in a minute.

As soon as the fight resumed Taylor was in no mood to hang about and set upon the challenger with another frenzy of fist & feet. Pervis finally had enough when another huge roundhouse landed sending him to the canvas for a third time - this time he was unable to stand before the ten count had ended and Taylor leaped to the air as he convincingly won his fist World Championship Title.

Two coach loads of supports travelled to Surrey to cheer their Instructor & training partner Taylor to victory
