Are all Club/Association Instructors aware they are now required to be checked for offences against the young by the Criminal Records Bureau?
Early this year the Government set up the CRB and now anybody coming into unsupervised contact with children or vulnarable adults must go through an Enhanced check with the CRB. Just the same as School Teachers, Social Workers etc. are doing now.
Most of us are clear and we know we are, but there could be some out there that are not and is it worth the risk to your young students not to mention the damage it would cause to your Club/Association if anything happened??.
